Arctic Foods has processed meat in Washington since 1957, and three generations on it still runs a USDA-inspected plant that cuts and processes meat for New Jersey and Pennsylvania farmers. The Meat Shoppe opened at the plant in 2002. Butchers cut the cases daily, with Piedmontese beef, dry-aged beef, locally raised Angus and locally raised Duroc heritage pork, and a kitchen on site makes soups, chili, salads, sides and heat-and-eat dinners.
