Rick and Laura Nifenecker own Café Pierrot, which has two shops in Sussex County: this bakery in Andover and a café in Sparta. Rick studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and the Culinary Institute of America. The bakery makes breads such as country French sourdough, baguette, semolina and rye each morning, along with croissants, turnovers and scones. Custom and celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies and macarons are made to order.
