Frederick and Anna Parks bought this 60-acre property in 1903 and ran it as a dairy farm; the Clendennen family took it over in 2022 and has added livestock and expanded the farm store. The store sells sourdough loaves, sprinkle-studded Sweetheart sourdough, sourdough chocolate chip cookies and jars of live sourdough starter to take home, along with farmstead fruit jams. The farm says everything in the store comes from Cedar Gate Farm itself, including its eggs, honey and seasonal vegetables.
