Cotton Cattle Company raises its animals at River Valley Farm, more than 230 contiguous acres of pasture and woodlot in the Musconetcong River Valley in Hunterdon County, run by fourth- and fifth-generation local residents. The cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, on pasture in the growing season and hay and haylage in winter, with no grain. The farm uses rotational grazing, riparian buffers and conservation mowing, and its meats are free of antibiotics and added hormones.
