The Community Supported Garden began in 1988 on land tied to Genesis Farm, the learning center founded by the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell. About 300 member households fund each season, and six farmers plus apprentices grow vegetables, fruit and flowers on roughly 20 acres using biodynamic and organic methods. Greenhouses and root cellars let the farm keep distributing food from December through April.
