Hawk Ridge Farm sits on a ridge in the New Jersey Highlands in Jefferson Township, a few minutes from Lake Hopatcong and Nolan's Point. It was founded in 2020 as a haven for the owner's goats and now keeps alpacas, mini horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and honeybees alongside organic fruit and vegetable beds. Farm operator Colin Ley runs the growing, the CSA and a calendar of gardening classes. The farm is part of Live the Lake NJ, a group of Lake Hopatcong hospitality businesses.
