Haxton Homestead is a small family farm in Stockton run by the Haxton family, raising meat and produce with a focus on humane, sustainable practices and on teaching. It sells whole pasture-raised chickens, free-range eggs, cuts of pasture-raised heritage pork and sausage, and whole turkeys for Thanksgiving; its grass-fed beef is sold out. The family also runs chicken processing classes, incubation programs, farm tours and kids' birthday parties.

A chicken processing class is scheduled for Oct 25. Last year the farm sold whole pasture-raised Thanksgiving turkeys at $7.50/lb from a reserve list; nothing for 2026 is posted yet.
