Hind & Fore is an old-line butcher shop on Route 28 that says it has served the area for 62 years, with a staff of butchers counting more than 100 years of experience between them. The beef is all hand-selected USDA Prime, dry aged on the premises, alongside American lamb from Colorado and Pennsylvania Dutch pork and poultry. Veal, goat, game and seafood round out the case. The shop makes its own sausages from classic recipes with no fillers or preservatives, from sweet and hot Italian to British bangers, plus soups, pierogies, chicken pot pies and oven-ready dinners.
