John David and Kristie Madura grow on 300 acres of black dirt in Pine Island, NY, about 15 minutes from this stand, and named it J.A.D.S. after their four children. The farm has grown vegetables since 1996, uses integrated pest management and non-GMO seed, and is GAP certified. The stand carries the farm's vegetables, Pine Island mushrooms, eggs from its own hens and honey from its own hives, alongside fruit, bread, cheese, jams and creamline milk from neighboring farms. A farm-stand-style CSA lets members spend a prepaid balance on anything in the stand.
