Renata Romanek runs Krakus, a Polish restaurant and deli on Elder Avenue that makes traditional Polish food from scratch. The pierogi come in ten fillings, among them sauerkraut, sauerkraut with mushroom, and potato with kraut and bacon, and the kitchen turns out red beet barszcz, pickle soup, bigos, stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes with goulash. The deli case also carries kielbasa, kabanosy and Polish groceries to take home.
