Owner and head brewer Joe Fisher started brewing in his basement in 2008 and opened Man Skirt on Main Street in October 2015. The beers lean toward traditional English and German styles, alongside hard seltzer and house non-alcoholic sodas. The taproom has indoor and outdoor seating.
