Melick's Town Farm is run by 10th-generation farmers Peter, Rebecca and John Melick, whose family has farmed around Oldwick since the 1720s, and calls itself New Jersey's largest apple grower, with about 25,000 apple trees. The Califon Orchards are its northern location: 200 acres of peaches, apples and pumpkins, planted to dwarf trees that keep fruit within easy reach. The farm stand sells pre-picked fruit, the farm's own sweet corn and vegetables, fresh baked goods, and Melick's own hard cider and wine.
