Three friends who met at Rutgers opened Middlemist in April 2026, making mead from locally sourced honey and fresh fruit right in the downtown taproom. The list runs from a Local Wildflower mead to fruit, hopped and blossom honey wines, plus a honey cider and house honey sodas. In August 2026 they added a full coffee bar, so the space now opens in the morning.
