Theodore and Ruth Miller bought the farm in January 1924 and ran it as a dairy until the local creamery closed in the 1940s, when it turned to beef, hay and eggs. Vegetables came in from the 1970s, and in the 1990s the old blacksmith shop became the farm market, still called The Shop. Now preserved farmland, the farm has two greenhouses, supplies vegetables to local restaurants under grower John McAndrew III, and raises grass-fed beef and pork on local Penwell Mills grain and its own vegetables, without antibiotics.
