SMP Sussex Market (also signed Sussex Meat) has been run by the Peereboom family in Morris County since 1982. It specializes in USDA Prime and Choice beef under the Certified Angus Beef brand, plus pork, poultry, lamb and veal. The butcher case runs from chuck and short ribs to picanha, hanger, tomahawk and dry-aged porterhouse, with a range of marinated steaks, pork loins and chops. Sausages (sweet, hot, cheese and parsley), fresh and smoked kielbasa, stuffed chicken breasts and burgers are made in the store. A deli counter makes sandwiches with store-made roast beef, meatballs and chicken salad, and the kitchen cooks a single-serve dinner each week and a Friday prime rib dinner.
