Pasquale, a baker from Naples, and his wife Anna opened the first Sorrento Bakery in East Hanover in 1975 and moved to the larger Eagle Rock Avenue shop in 1994. Their sons Domenico, a pastry chef trained at the French Culinary Institute, and Antonio now work in the business. The bakery makes Italian bread, pastries and a long list of custom cakes, alongside a full deli counter.
