Henry Von Thun bought 90 acres in South Brunswick in 1913, and the family, now in its fifth generation, grows small fruits and vegetables for wholesale and retail. The Washington Township farm's market opened in 2017 in a renovated pole barn, selling the farm's own sweet corn, Jersey tomatoes and dozens of other crops. The family also raises Aberdeen Angus cattle on rotationally grazed pasture without hormones or antibiotics, and sells the dry-aged beef year round. Pick-your-own runs from strawberries in May through apples and pumpkins in October.
