Albert and Laetitia Wightman bought the land in 1922 and sold produce from a table under a mulberry tree; the third generation now runs the farm market and cider mill, with Adam Wightman as head farmer. The farm grows more than 30 apple varieties plus strawberries, peaches, sweet corn and vegetables. Its sweet cider is cold-pressed from its own blend of apples with no additives or preservatives, and the kitchen bakes pies daily and makes cider donuts all day, along with cookies, dessert breads, apple dumplings and prepared meals.
