Fred and Ranghild Bostrom started Sun High on 25 acres in Randolph in 1945. The orchard grows apples including Honeycrisp, Crimson Crisp, Cortland, Ambrosia, Jonathan and Gala, along with sweet corn and vegetables. The farm store's kitchen bakes breads, pies, muffins and scones daily, makes homemade ice cream and, as the weather cools, quarts of soup. An April 2026 freeze damaged more than half the orchard's blossoms, so there is no pick-your-own this year.
