The Circle is a contemporary restaurant on Route 94 in Fredon, cooked by chefs Brendan Ullmann and Tyler O'Toole, both alumni of Jean-Georges according to NJ Monthly, which gave it 3.5 of 4 stars in 2021. The menu changes with the season: this fall it runs from oysters with cucumber-serrano granita and a carrot bisque with gochujang to tortelloni with smoked celeriac and chestnut, pastrami-smoked Hudson Valley duck breast, and a celeriac katsu for vegetarians. NJ Monthly named it to its Top 40 in 2024 and its 50 Best Restaurants list for 2026.

The foie gras banh mi is built on a baguette from Windy Brow Farms, the orchard and bakery a few minutes away in Fredon, and the beer list includes Czig Meister from Hackettstown alongside Cape May and Doc's Cider. NJ Monthly reported in 2021 that the restaurant grows some of its own produce.
