The Pluckemin Inn was built from the ground up as a food and wine restaurant, with reclaimed French oak walls, iron banisters, big fireplaces and two floors of dining around "the tower," a three-story, temperature-controlled wine room holding more than 10,000 bottles. Owner Gloria LaGrassa runs it, Executive Chef Jason Ramos cooks a fresh, local, seasonal menu, and the wine list runs to more than 5,500 selections, including the "Pluckemin 200" of bottles priced up to $100. It has held Wine Spectator's Grand Award every year since 2011 and is on AAA's Four Diamond list for 2026.

The current dinner menu credits Griggstown chicken from Griggstown Farm in Franklin Township, served with Tuscan kale, wild mushrooms and pommes boulangère. Lunch, dinner and a more casual tavern menu (burger, pizza, salads) run side by side, and the inn sells wine online through its PluckyWines.com shop.
