Zell's Farm is run by a young farming family who started with a backyard garden and moved into serious farming to feed their own kids. They specialize in specialty mushrooms: lion's mane, maitake, chestnut, pioppino, black pearl king, shiitake, and blue, golden, pink, abalone and phoenix oysters, plus enoki, nameko and reishi. They also raise pastured chicken without antibiotics or hormones and grow specialty vegetables without herbicides or pesticides. Their mushrooms are sold at the farm store, through an online shop and at farmers markets across central and north Jersey.
