Juniper Hill is an independently owned, family-friendly restaurant in a renovated bank building in the village of Annandale, with a main dining room, a private room in the old vault, and a bar with a fireplace and big open-air windows. The menu changes often and is built around what is being harvested nearby and seafood from East Coast fishermen, with coal-fired pizzas, brunch on Friday through Sunday, and drinks that lean on New Jersey breweries, local wineries and distilleries. The kitchen was led by chef Craig Polignano, formerly of The Ryland Inn, when the restaurant changed hands in 2024.

The restaurant says it works closely with local farmers, producers and bakers, and the current menu names some of them: ricotta from Lebanon Cheese Co. and sourdough from Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse in Milford. A 2024 profile of the kitchen named Three Meadows Farm, Cabbage Throw Farm, Zell's Farm, Two Barn Farm and Meadowbrook Farm among its growers.
