Sparta's Saturday farmers market since 2011: organic produce, pastured meats, bison, cheese, seafood and bread, through a Thanksgiving Market on Nov 21 and a Holiday Market on Nov 28.

Running since 2011, this seasonal outdoor market brings together more than 30 farms, growers, makers and bakers each Saturday. Its founding farmers are Kittatinny Mountain Farm in Wantage (certified organic produce), Glenmalure Farm in Branchville (beef, pork, chicken, lamb and eggs) and Churutabis Farm in Branchville (pasture-raised chicken, pork and eggs). The 2026 list also includes Cattail Hollow Farm, Race Farm, Roaming Acres Farm (bison, ostrich and pork), Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Jersey Artisan Co. cheese and bread, Rogers Fresh Seafood, Fat Cap Mushrooms, Verdant Microgreens and Top Of The Mountain Farm honey, with pastry from Chocolatine and handmade pasta from That Pasta Club.
